Quick answer

PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a Medicare and Medicaid program, available in some areas, for people 55 and older who need a nursing home level of care but can live safely in the community with help. A PACE team coordinates all care, often through a PACE center with adult day care, plus home care, prescriptions and transportation. People with Medicaid pay no monthly premium; others pay a monthly premium. (800) 614-8388 to talk through care at home.
