## What a home health aide does

- Bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
- Help moving, transferring and walking.

## When Medicare pays for an aide

Medicare covers part-time home health aide services when they're part of a home health plan of care, your parent is homebound, and they also need skilled care such as nursing or therapy.
